As 2025 draws to a close, Jo Land reflects on a year of achievement, teamwork and the everyday moments that make a real difference.

These Smile Moments — the simple acts that bring joy, independence and connection — are at the heart of everything we do.

Jo also reflects on some of the highlights of 2025, from celebrating our colleagues and teams, to exciting new services taking shape and continued investment in our work. As we look ahead to 2026, she acknowledges the challenges facing health and social care, while emphasising the resilience, professionalism and kindness that define our organisation.
