A summary of our operational priorities

We have an ambitious but realistic set of goals that will help our services to continuously improve and to offer more people more of our outstanding support. Our plan forms part of the Group Strategic Plan with an emphasis on the following areas:

  • Quality and Specialism
  • Capacity and Resources
  • Building our Reputation
  • Sustainability and Growth
  • Engagement and Coproduction

We will:

  1. Further improve our relationship with all relevant commissioning bodies to ensure that the people we support continue to receive the service they want, to live the life that they wish for.
  2. Fill our remaining support vacancies within budget and ensure quality services are delivered.
  3. Explore all opportunities to develop further supported living and complex outreach services across the region, specifically targeting those areas where we don’t currently have a presence.
  4. Complete a review of all deficit contribution as they arise, supported by a financial action plan to address those issues.
  5. Continue to recruit into and develop our teams ensuring that more staff hold qualifications in PBS and Active Support.
