Visitor guidance
Welcoming visitors to our homes
At Avenues, we believe that everyone has the right to enjoy meaningful relationships and to welcome visitors of their choice into their home. We are committed to supporting people to receive visitors freely and without unnecessary restriction. We not only have a responsibility to protect the safety and wellbeing of the people we support but also our staff. All visits are managed in a way that respects individual wishes, ensures dignity, and complies with relevant laws and regulatory standards.
The following guidance has been co-produced with the people we support and the New Directions Group, to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard and respected.
