What we do
Avenues is a group of Social Enterprises that employs more than 1,400 staff to support over 2,400 people in London, East Anglia and the South East. Our Group head office is based in Sidcup, Kent.
We offer a number of different services which include:
- The Avenues Trust Community Support Services provides community and home-based support to over 200 people with mental health issues, learning disabilities or physical disabilities. They also provide support for young people with learning disabilities and autism

The Avenues Trust Support Services provides support for over 200 people in small, registered care homes, providing personalised, 24-hour support services to people with complex needs, including challenging behaviour and profound and multiple learning disabilities. We also specialise in positive behaviour support, Person Centred Active Support and provide support at a registered nursing home for people who need long-term support with their mental health You can read more about these by going to the How We Support People page
- Community Futures Kent is a person centred community development organisation based in West Kent
- Optua, a Suffolk based charity that provides a wide range of services for disabled people, joined the Avenues Trust Group in April 2011. Services include:

- Community Transport
- Volunteer Centre Mid Suffolk
- Support Services
- Optua UK - case management for people with an acquired brain injury.
Optua also represents disabled people on a wide range of voluntary and statutory committees, involving the planning, monitoring and provision of services for disabled people across Suffolk.
