Janice Campbell
Chief Executive
Janice comes to the Avenues Trust Group with over 30 years experience of work in the health and social care sector. She began her working life as a social worker in Scotland, before training as a psychotherapist.
Janice moved to London in the 1980's and has had a variety of jobs in Social Services Departments, including training, service management and development, followed by a period as Assistant Director of Social Services, with responsibility for Adult Services. Janice moved to work in the voluntary sector and has been Director in three organisations providing innovative services for people with learning disabilities or mental health problems. She has also worked as a consultant on the Campus Reprovision Programme and on a Personalisation project for a large housing and support organisation.
Janice is a qualified Company Director and is the chair of a self-advocacy group for people with learning disabilities.
Debbie Smith
Director of Operations
Debbie has over 18 years experience in social care. She has worked in the supported housing departments of two housing associations and in the private and voluntary sectors with leading care and support providers.
In recent years Debbie has specialised in Community Support and Supported Living services and she joined Avenues in 2008 to lead the operational management for Community Support Services.
Debbie is also a member of Housing Options Executive Committee.
