About us

Avenues is a group of charitable Social Enterprises that provide a unique mix of services to adults and young people, with a range of complex and challenging needs, in London, the South East and Cambridge.  We are unusual in that we only provide support, not housing.  We do this because we believe that it would be difficult to support people to make choices about their housing if we were also providing the housing for them.

The Avenues Trust Community Support Services, The Avenues Trust Support Services, Southwark Home Care and Inclusive Community Futures - the individual subsidiary organisations which make up the group, offer a range of different, professional, not-for-profit support services for people with complex or challenging needs, which enables us to provide locally based, specialist services.  The support that each organisation offers is tailored to the unique needs of the individual so that they can enjoy their lives within their communities.  We see the difference we make daily and measure the impact of our work. 

The people we support come first and everyone is treated as an individual.  We offer people whatever level of support they need, whether it is 24 hours a day or just two hours support a week, for as long as they want it and we are realistic about people's hopes and needs and will go the extra mile to try and meet them, but we also think life should be enjoyable - not just about what people need, but also about what they want.
