Join us for a wonderful day at the Avenues White Hat Golf Challenge 2010
Avenues, in conjunction with the White Hat Ball Committee is delighted to announce our Golf Challenge for 2010, taking place on Wednesday 9 June 2010 at Kings Hill Golf Club.
Now in its fourth anniversary year, Avenues has teamed up with the White Hat Ball Committee to organise a day whereby Avenues' supporters, suppliers, staff and the people we support come together to raise money for our Sports & Active Lifestyles project.
The Sports & Active Lifestyles Project promotes exercise and healthier lifestyles for the people that Avenues supports. We have produced a toolkit for staff to help them encourage the people we support to get out and about and use more local facilities and experience a wide range of activities.
The project has so far helped to fund a variety of different activites including sailing taster sessions and courses, a new strip and equipment for our football team - Avenues United, Badminton courses and equipment plus many more.
Our Charity Golf Day always raises a considerable amount of money for this project but this year we hope to raise even more.
The day will begin at 9am with a sit down breakfast ready for a 10am shotgun start. Teams of 4 will play 18 holes of golf followed by a 2 course dinner, prize giving and raffle. Tickets are priced at £75 per person.
